ABOUT ME
Hi y'all! I'm Annalise Awa, originally from the beautiful city of Charlotte, North Carolina, and now reside in my husband's hometown of Kona, Hawai'i. Embracing the beauty of nature is my passion, and I'm currently creating a serene 100% solar-powered, water-catchment oasis on our property. I have an undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a graduate degree in Integrative Health from California Institute of Integral Studies. I currently work for a mental health company, Spring Health, doing wellness coaching with a focus on chronic illnesses, mental health, and emotional health. I truly believe my purpose in life is to serve others in navigating towards a more fulfilling existence. Creating a nurturing environment where people can honor their needs and tap into their inner wisdom is at the root of what I do. My own health journey has been full of ups and downs from unwinding chronic conditions and struggles within the conventional medical system. It was in the depths of my own suffering that I discovered the power of alternative healing modalities and the profound impact of reconnecting with nature. I firmly believe that each of us holds the key to our own healing journey, though support and community are essential along the way. My coaching philosophy revolves around making small, manageable changes that seamlessly fit into everyday life, fostering lasting lifestyle shifts. It's not about all or nothing; it's about cultivating self-love and acceptance, meeting ourselves where we are, and gently guiding ourselves towards growth. I believe in you—wholeheartedly and I'm here to support and applaud you every step of the way as you blossom into the beautiful, resilient being you were meant to be.
